Reflections from Week 2 EDLD 5301
In week two I have learned that in the Educational setting, action research is of utmost importance. Just by watching the interviews all professionals basically stated that data needs to be the center of any changes that need to occur in the classroom to impact student learning. The comment that really struck me was Dr. Chargois stating that the old saying of "If I just get through to just one student, then I have done my job" is simply not enough in education these days. We have to impact all students!

I have been teaching for 13 years now and so much has changed during that time. I remember the first time I heard disaggregated data, and thought huh? The importance of data has really be driven home the past couple of weeks and now I see why!
